Welcome to the Zoo. For those that have visited the Montrose Zoo, you know there's usually plenty of action at most hours of the day. For those that haven't, hopefully this will give you a glimpse into the world of a baby, a Boston Terrier, a vocal black cat, a Cockatiel and a Lovebird.
Nolan John Greenwell, born Dec. 18, 2006, is the baby of the bunch. In his first four weeks, he's been out and about. Jan. 9 was a big day as he made his first visit to Justin's (mom and dad's local joint) and took in his first basketball game (a loss for the DePaul women).
As far as the first name, no real link with Nolan. It kind of came out of nowhere and we rolled with it. The name has nothing to do with Nolan Ryan, Nolan Cromwell or Nolan Richardson.
